BMW Motorrad reveals 2016 EICMA line up; hints at new GS motorcycles

It’s no secret that BMW Motorrad will soon introduce a new, entry-level displacement GS series motorcycle. In October 2016, the upcoming entry-level adventure motorcycle, expected to be christened as G310 GS, was spotted in production ready form. BMW Motorrad has remained tight-lipped about upcoming adventure tourer. However, a new official statement released by the two-wheeler arm of the Bavarian manufacturer hints that we may see this new GS series motorcycle at the 2016 EICMA motorcycle show scheduled on from 8 to 13 November 2016.

The upcoming G310 GS will be the smallest displacement GS series motorcycle from BMW Motorrad. The motorcycle will share various components with the G310 R. Both the motorcycles will share the same 313cc, single-cylinder liquid-cooled DOHC fuel injected engine and the tuning is not likely to undergo any changes. So expect the G310 GS to deliver 34 bhp of power at 9,500 rpm and 28 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm.
