BMW M6 Gran Coupe India launch on April 3. Spotted

Now, hardly a couple of days before the car enters India officially, it has been spotted having an outing on our public roads.


Basically the performance variant of the 6’er Gran Coupe, the upcoming M6 Gran Coupe is will be seen rivaling the Audi RS7 and the Mercedes CLS63 AMG. The car will sport some  visual updates, in addition to a stonker of a motor. Key styling upgrades on the M6 Gran Coupe include a sporty body kit that comprises of carbon fibre roof, 19-inch alloy wheels, revised bumpers and flared wheel arches. The car also gets M quad exhausts and a diffuser.

The M6 Gran Coupe is powered by the same 4.4-litre V8 engine that powers the very tasty M5. This V8 engine has a max power of 568 PS and a peak torque of 678 Nm. The BMW M6 Gran Coupe can dismiss 100 kmph from standstill in just 4.1 seconds. The car has an electronically limited top speed of 250 kmph. Power is sent to the wheels via a 7 speed dual clutch gearbox.

    That looks like the Master Blaster’s M6 GC in Frozen Silver and not the test vehicle from BMW. Enlarged view hints at him driving it as well.
