BMW Motorrad India has announced that the G 310 RR has crossed 1000 bookings. The BMW G 310 RR comes at a price tag of ₹2.85 lakh for the base variant and ₹2.99 lakh for the Style Sport variant. The only difference between the two variants is that the base variant comes in a black shade and the Style Sport variant comes in the classic BMW white, red and blue livery. The BMW G 310 RR is based on the TVS Apache RR 310.

The new BMW G 310 RR comes with few changes over the TVS Apache RR 310 to differentiate between the two. It gets a different paint scheme from BMW’s white, red, and blue motorsport livery. It comes with a 5-inch TFT screen with graphics. Other features include conventional disc brakes instead of the petal units on the Apache and it also comes with Michelin Pilot Street tires compared to Michelin Road 5 tires on its sibling.
The power of BMW G 310 RR comes from a DOHC, liquid-cooled engine producing 34 ps and 27 nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. It also gets 4 riding modes – Urban, Rain, Sport, and Track, which can be toggled between on the ride with the switches on the handlebar. These riding modes alter the ABS and engine power output. The trellis frame weighs 174 kg. It also comes with USD forks in the front and a mono-shock in the rear. It gets disc brakes in the front and rear and dual-channel ABS is standard.
The 5-inch TFT display displays the speedometer, odometer, trip meter, fuel level, engine temperature, etc. However, it misses out on the option of Bluetooth connectivity. The design of the BMW G 310 RR is similar to the Apache RR 310. The front of this bike features a split LED headlamps setup and an aggressive fairing. While the rear gets LED tail lamps and the seats are split into two parts. The BMW G 310 RR is around ₹20000 more expensive than the Apache 310 RR and it misses out on a few features too.
