BBM Motorsport recently unveiled a highly modified seventh generation Volkswagen Golf GTI that is significantly more powerful than the regular model.
The boffins at BBM Motorsport have worked their magic on a regular Golf GTI Performance variant, which in its factory tuned state, has a max power of 230 HP (169 kW) and peak torque of 350 Nm (258 lb-ft). The car is powered by a four cylinder 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine. The new BBM Motorsport Volkswagen Golf GTO Vll though, has an impressive 300 HP (221 kW) of max power and 440 Nm (324 lb-ft) of torque.
The increase in power and torque has been obtained by reworking the car’s electronics and installing custom down pipes with sports cats and a carbon intake kit. Also, the car gets a new exhaust system from Supersprint, a Stoptech braking system that has 328×25 mm four-piston calipers and a KW suspension that is electronically adjustable from 20 to 55 mm.
Finally, the car also gets 19-inch BBS wheels that are painted in a shade of titan gray. The body comes draped in a red-colored wrap from Germany based SFT Carwrap Ibbenbueren
