There is no denying that the entry level performance bike segment of Indian two wheelers market is fast heating up and much of this can be attributed to Bajaj Auto Ltd. being generous to us performance hungry folks by regularly updating the entry level performance bikes it sells in India. The Pulsar brand of bikes from Bajaj keeps getting better and what started life with a set of 150cc and 180cc bikes, will soon get a 375cc variant that will be loosely based on the upcoming KTM 390 Duke.
While the launch of the 375cc will be the biggest ever milestone in the journey of Bajaj Pulsar, another significant milestone it recently crossed was that of collecting over one million fans on its Facebook page. With this, the Pulsar becomes the first and only two-wheeler brand in the country to have more than a million fans on its Facebook page.
Commenting on the accomplishment, Mr. Sanjay Saraswat, Vice-President(Marketing), Bajaj Auto Ltd. said, “Bajaj Auto considers its Facebook fan page reaching a million mark as a testimony to the sporty evolution that it has brought in the country. Much in line with the brands ‘DNA’ it created a community of bikers and biking enthusiasts. Over the social media these biking enthusiasts, found the Facebook page as a platform to share their videos, pictures, stories and travelogues. Overtime, this became a community of people who spoke similar language. This is a true testament to the kind of brand power that we have with us in Brand Pulsar”
He further added, “With the launch of Pulsar 200 NS we are just beginning the second chapter of the Pulsar saga. There are going to be many such impactful innovations and variants to keep the excitement alive around Brand Pulsar.”
We aren’t too surprised to learn that Bajaj has managed to get more than 1 million fans on Pulsar’s Facebook page. Are you?
