Kia made the global debut of the striking new SP Concept at the 2018 Auto Expo along with a showcase of 16 global car models. The SP prefaces the product lineup and user experience that customers can expect when the brand launches in India in the second half of 2019.
The futuristic SUV with its bold style and unique design has been made keeping the young Indian consumers in mind. The combination of its wide and stable stance, sporty and long hood profile and futuristic details give it a unique blend of beauty and sophistication.
The SP Concepts robust front mask combines a bold formative design with Kia’s signature ‘Tiger nose’ grille and many more details. The slim lamps with integrated Daytime Running Lamps and Positioning Lamps lead to the inside of the grille. The sleek interior design of the SP Concept marries an advanced sensual style and dynamic sensibility at its core with a differentiated layout that enhances convenience.
Peter Schreyer, Chief Design Officer of Kla Motors Corporation, commented, “Over the last few years, SUVs have become the vehicle-of-choice among Indian buyers.
