The Indian subsidiary of Japanese tyre brand, Yokohama India, is all set to showcase their new product line up at the upcoming Auto Exposition 2016 in Greater Noida. The 2016 edition will be Yokohama India’s fifth consecutive appearance at the event since 2008.
At the mega event, Yokohama will introduce variety of tyres from their global flagship brand Advan and Geolander. The Yokohama booth will launch the Advan Sport V105 and Geolandar SUV G055 for the Indian market. The Advan Sport V10 caters to the luxury segment of cars, likes of Mercedes, Audi etc, while the Geolander SUV G055 caters to crossovers plying in cities and in need of better handling.
Along with the said launches, Yokohama will also showcase their global concept, Yokohama BluEarth. The BluEarth concept delivers environmental, socially human friendly solutions with the help of Advanced Technologies. Tyres developed through the BluEarth concept are claimed to reduce stress and enhance driving experience for drivers and for passengers. In addition to this, the BluEarth tyres can reduce the compromise between low rolling resistance and long mileage.
At the Yokohama booth, the company will also exhibit its grand alliance with Premier League renowned Chelsea FC. Other than being in the replacement tyres business, Yokohama also supplies original equipment suppliers to many top of the line car manufacturers like Audi, Honda, Mercedes Benz, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Porsche, Suzuki and Toyota. Yokohama has also gone the ‘Make in India’ way and has started to manufacture the Earth-1 and S-drive tyre series in India. The Yokohama Earth-1 is the first product specifically designed for diverse Indian road conditions.
