When viewed in side profile, the car can be seen sporting chrome side skirts, ORVM mounted indicators, chrome door handles, chrome rub strips and a set of new design alloy wheels that come with low profile tires.
At the rear, the Grand Vitara Luxion sports a chrome handle for the rear door, a roof spoiler and a revised rear bumper.
On the inside, the new Maruti Grand Vitara Luxion special edition model boasts of brown leather seats, LCD screens for passengers in the rear seat and a new dual tone finish for some of the interior panels.
Mechanically, the Grand Vitara remains unchanged, which means that powering the Luxion is the same 2.4 litre, four cylinder, petrol engine that powers the regular model. The Grand Vitara is available in India with both manual and automatic transmissions.
The sales performance by Grand Vitara in Indian market has been quite dismal. Do you think Maruti should launch the Lexion variant to cure the lack-lusture showing by this crossover on the sales charts? Do share your views by penning them down in the comments section below.
