Ather and BPCL gears up for EV infrastructure growth!

Ather has announced its partnership with BPCL for expanding the EV charging infrastructure in the country. In this partnership, Ather will gain access to the BPCL’s wide network of 21,000+ fuel stations in the country.

Details of Charging Station Expansion

Currently, the Ather has a large charging network of more than 1,400 charging stations in the country. The EV maker has a presence in over 100 cities across the country.

However, after the collaboration, Ather has geared up to expand its presence in more cities across the country. With this collaboration, Ather will fulfill the requirements of its customers. Also, the company will promote EV adoption and growth in its customer base.

Meanwhile, Ather has introduced an app where users can locate charging stations. Additionally, the app provides more details like real-time information on charger availability.

In the first phase, Ather has built fast-charging stations in several areas of Delhi NCR. Furthermore, the company will build more than 100 fast charging stations across the country by the end of 2023.

About the Contribution of BPCL and Ather to Clean Energy

BPCL is one of the companies which promotes the growth of clean energy in the country. The EV Charging Stations are one of the important aspects of the company. Currently, BPCL has a wide network of over 7000 Energy Stations in the country.

The 2-wheelers have the highest contribution in the personal vehicle category. Nowadays, EV adoption is on trend in the Indian market. The new buyers are considering electric vehicles which adds to the growth of electrification.
