Ather 450 Is Now Fame 2 Compliant, Offers Extended Warranty To Existing Customers

Does Ather need to worry about this emerging threat?

Ather, leading Indian electric scooter manufacturer, has announced that their flagship scooter, the 450, is now fame 2 compliant. This would translate to a monetary benefit to the end customer, on the on-road price of the vehicle. Earlier, under the Fame 1 scheme, the scooter got a benefit of INR 22,000, however, under the updated Fame 2 policy, the motorcycle gets a subsidiary of INR 27,000. This difference of INR 5,000 aims to encourage more and more people to adopt electric vehicles, helping to make our cities much cleaner and greener than before. The Ather now retails for an on-road price of INR 1,23,230, However, the celebration for Ather owners do not end here, the company will offer an additional year of warranty to its existing customers who benefitted from the Fame 1 subsidiary.
