The picturesque hill town of Chail, Himachal Pradesh witnessed over 250 Harley-Davidson motorcycles roaring through its sleepy streets, to celebrate the 2nd Northern H.O.G. Ride. The meandering roads, majestic pine forests and the autumn zephyr formed the perfect backdrop for the biggest zonal ride in North India hosted by Harley-Davidson India.

H.O.G’s from across India- Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Indore and Kochi, made sure their presence was felt as they roared into the mountains of Himachal-Pradesh.

The 2nd Northern H.O.G ride was held from the 18th to 20th of October. The three day event, organized, exclusively for Harley owners had live rock music, the newest Harley-Davidson merchandise on display, a tattoo parlor, a tech shop and many other activities that kept the riders engaged. A key highlight of the event was the contest among riders for the “best customized” motorcycles at the rally.

As the ride came to an end, emotions ran high amongst the H.O.G’s as they bid adieu to new found friends and held on to some memorable experiences of the 2nd Northern H.O.G Ride.

“Riding amongst deodar forests and breathing in the fresh mountain air enriches the soul like nothing else and with a Harley throttle at your command, the experience just becomes godly. I have ridden my Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail Classic on many different terrains and I can say for sure that it loves the curves of the hills the best. The Northern H.O.G Ride is a must for any H.O.G- a pure motorcycling experience”-Bikram Puri, Capital Chapter New Delhi.

Having ridden across India for all regional rides, my personal favorite is the Northern H.O.G Ride, simply because of its distinct and unparalleled riding flavor. Three days of pure riding, fun with fellow riders and the exotic bonfire grilled grub all added to the quintessential charm of the hills. I can keep telling you about the ride, but what you really need is a Harley and a few fellow riders and off you go!” Saurin Shah, Nine Bridges Chapter, Ahmedabad.

th presence in over 120 countries and 1.3 Million members from across the world, H.O.G is one of the largest and most successful global communities bound together through common beliefs and a passion for biking. With participation from H.O.G chapters across India- the 2nd Northern H.O.G Ride was a pan-India phenomenon.
