Hyundai Motors India launches it’s RSA program.
South-Korean automotive giant, Hyundai, recently announced that it will provide to all of it’s Indian customers, a special 24×7 Roadside Assistance (RSA) Retail Program. This announcement comes as a blessing for those who’s cars are way beyond the warranty period. It also shows Hyundai’s commitment towards customer satisfaction. The Korean manufacturer has done this by teaming up with Allianz Global Assistance (AGA).
Hyundai had launched this in 2010 as well, and the good news for those who had signed up for this service is that the car maker only need to pay a nominal amount for these extra services. Plus, those who purchase a brand-new Hyundai vehicle, these services will be offered free of charge with no additional costs (unlimited kilometers).
On the launch of the RSA Program, Rakesh Srivastava, Senior Vice-President – Sales and Marketing, said, “The Hyundai Road Side Assistance Program was launched in 2010, with the aim of providing emergency road side assistance services round the clock to ensure a hassle free Hyundai’s ownership experience. This year we are extending the policy for all customers aiming to provide them pan India reach with maximum assistance, benefit and services.”
The cost of the program for a year’s worth of coverage is Rs. 899, Rs. 1,499 for two years, and 1,999 for three years. The maturity of the coverage would be up to six years from the date of delivery of the vehicle to the first customer and the policy can be purchased within the warranty period as well.
The services offered under the Hyundai Roadside Assistance Retail Program include: national coverage, 24×7 dedicated call-centre assistance, breakdown and accidental towing, minor mechanical/electrical – on site repair, battery jump start, assistance over phone, key lock out, flat tyre support, emergency fuel support, taxi coordination, legal / medical coordination and custody services.
