Exterior

Some of the new features of the Mahindra TUV300 are a new bold Piano Black front grille which provides the car with a mean and aggressive stance, a slightly new headlamp design with LED DRLs, an all-new X-shaped Metallic Grey spare wheel cover which not only holds the spare wheel but also helps enhance the overall look of the car. The TUV also gets a set of muscular side claddings with a chin plate, which protects the car’s undercarriage from impacts and unwanted dirt. The clear lens tail lamps make the car look more sleek and modern, while the new dual-tone paint schemes give the TUV300 a premium edge.

Interior

The interior is designed by Pininfarina, and they have done their best by adding plush leatherette seats and silver accents to increase the overall appeal of the car. The TUV was previously equipped with a touch-screen display, and now it gets the Reverse Parking camera with it too.

Safety

Previously, the car lacked basic safety features like dual-airbags, which is one of the reasons why it wasn’t very popular. But, now the car gets dual-front airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX mounts in the second row, Cornering Brake Control (CBC) and automatic door locking. For now, these updates will allow the Mahindra TUV300 to continue until the new BS VI norms begin next year. The vehicle’s 9-seater Plus variant will also be updated with these features in the coming weeks.
