2019 Aston Martin Vantage Teased, Set To Debut Later This Year

British marquee Aston Martin has teased the upcoming generation of the Vantage ahead of its official debut that is scheduled to take place later this year. The first set of teaser images shared by the company reveal quite a few details of the 2019 Vantage.

Up-front, the new Vantage features a large clamshell bonnet flanked by sleeker headlights and a Vulcan inspired grille. A few other details such as the raked windscreen at the front, a massive diffuser at the rear and a dual exhaust system hint at the performance oriented design. The model is expected to be based on a shortened version of the DB11’s aluminium architecture platform.

The First vantage that Aston Martin will launch internationally would receive an AMG sourced 4.0-litre twin turbo V8 engine. It remains unclear if the company will de-tune the motor that produces 503 hp and 695 Nm of torque in its current state of tune. Transmission options will include a six speed manual unit as well as a six speed dual clutch transmission. One can expect the 2019 Aston Martin Vantage to sprint from 0-100 kmph in about 4 seconds while the top speed could stand above the 300 kmph mark.

Aston Martin will also launch the V12 Vantage, though at a later date. The model could use the same 5.2-litre twin trubo V12 engine as seen on the V12 variant of the DB11. The company, although unconfirmed, could also introduce an AMR specific track spec car later during the product’s lifecycle.
