Land Rover today announced the introduction of the 2017 Range Rover Evoque in India with prices starting from INR 49.10 Lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). With the introduction of the Ingenium Diesel engine, the 2017 Model Year New Range Rover Evoque becomes the first Land Rover in India to get this new power-train.

2017 Range Rover Evoque Design
The differences for 2017 are subtle yet they collectively make their presence felt. While the Evoque’s signature design elements such as the muscled up arches, clean lines and tapered roof continue unmolested, the front fascia receives certain updates in the form of a new front bumper with bigger intakes.
The headlamp clusters now host adaptive, full LED headlights and the Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) have a new signature which also serves as the directional indicator where it flashes amber. While the front grille is now a full mesh job, the LED tail lamps have been mildly updated too.
2017 Range Rover Evoque Interior
Inside, the 2017 Range Rover Evoque continues with the straight lines, clean surfaces and architectural shapes. Details include the use of premium materials such as Oxford leather, twin-needle stitching and deeply padded door inserts. Oxford leather seats come as standard on HSE and HSE Dynamic models.
The new 25.4 cm (10) Touchscreen is a addition to the interior, becoming the centerpiece of the facia. With a 21:9 wide format and 80 percent more pixels than the standard 20.32 cm (8) Touchscreen, the feature comes as standard on the HSE and HSE Dynamic models.

Ingenium Diesel Engine
Ingenium is Jaguar Land Rover’s new breed of engines and the 2017 Range Rover Evoque is blessed with one. Available only with the 2.0 l (132 kW) Ingenium diesel engine in India, the 2017 Range Rover Evoque comes with 4 Wheel Drive and 9-speed Automatic Transmission.
Typically 20 kg lighter than equivalent previous generation engines, the Ingenium engines are claimed to be more efficient, and come with computer controlled adaptive engine cooling that only engages as required. They also feature the latest generation variable geometry turbocharger that is said to maximise peak power for low-speed torque, while delivering responsiveness that is uniform, progressive relatively lag-free.
2017 Range Rover Evoque Technology
In-car technology in the 2017 Rnage Rover Evoque is headlined by the addition of the new InControl Touch Pro infotainment system. This technology optimises in-car connectivity by providing faster responses and a more intuitive operation for users.
The 2017 Range Rover Evoque further comes with Torque Vectoring by Braking system that constantly balances the distribution of torque between all the wheels to improve grip, a powered gesture tailgate that allows the customer to operate the tailgate (both to open and close) from outside without the smart key, and a Head-up Display that presents vehicle speed, gear position and navigation directions on the windscreen.
2017 Model Year Rover Evoque Ember Special Edition
An exclusive special Edition Range Rover Evoque has been introduced with a host of design enhancements. The ‘Ember’ special Edition builds on the attributes of the Range Rover Evoque HSE Dynamic with exterior details including a Firenze Red roof to contrast the Santorini Black body colour. The Ember theme continues inside with Ebony black seats with a contrasting Pimento red stitch among the many stand-out design features.
