Aprilia unveiled the 2017 Shiver 900 at the 2016 EICMA motorcycle show. This time around, instead of a 750 cc motor (which was seen on the 2007 model), the Italian marque has equipped the motorcycle with a 900 cc engine.
The motorcycle, for 2017, comes equipped with new fuel tank covers, side panels, tail fairing and front mudguard. The Shiver 900 also gets the new 4.3 inch TFT instrument cluster, the same unit which is used on the RSV4 and Tuono 1100 V4. The TFT screen can also be clubbed with the optional AMP (Aprilia Multimedia Platform) kit for smartphone connectivity. The kit provides data related to incoming/active calls, or information related to the use of an intercom, or any audio files being played.

The 900cc V-twin, 4-stroke, liquid cooled engine delivers 95.2 HP of power at 8,750 rpm and 90 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. Braking tasks are performed by dual 320 mm stainless steel floating discs upfront and 240 mm stainless steel disc at the rear.
