2016 Toyota Fortuner spotted ahead of July 17 reveal

Toyota Fortuner back

Before its international reveal on 17 July, barely disguised examples of the 2016 Toyota Fortuner has been spotted on a flatbed in Thailand.

The next generation Fortuner will be based on a reworked version of Toyota’s  Innovative International Multi-purpose Vehicle (IMV) platform. Apropos to being a proper, old-school SUV, the new Fortuner will continue with a new ladder frame chassis which would be lighter and stiffer than the outgoing version and should make for better off-road prowess.
