2016 Nissan Micra rendered with elements inspired from the Sway Concept

The futuristic Nissan Sway Concept ticked off our attention as it grounded at the 85th International Motor Show 2015 in Geneva earlier this month with its fancy lines and svelte bodywork. More so, when it was said to preview how a future generation of small Nissan models could look like, and that includes the next generation Micra.

Theophilus Chin went on to work on the next-generation Nissan Micra with elements from the Sway Concept, and the results just look pretty spectacular. The new design philosophy brings about a severe change in the Micra’s cutesy character.

The render implements the V-motion grille, the floating roof, boomerang lamps and a kicked-up C-pillar – to shape a new design signature that has already been seen on the Nissan Lannia Concept that was presented last year in Beijing at Auto China 2014, as well as the new Murano recently launched in the US, apart from the aforementioned Sway Concept.

Details about the Micra are scarce, but the next generation Micra’s production will be swapped from India to France at the Flins factory near Paris.
