Suzuki Alto Turbo RS

Suzuki recently unveiled the eighth generation of the Alto kei-car. Soon after revealing this new generation Suzuki Alto, images of a Turbo RS version, based on this kei-car, surfaced the internet. Now, the Japanese car maker has unveiled the Auto Turbo RS version to the visitors of the 2015 Tokyo Auto Salon.

The Alto Turbo RS concept gets number of decals along with a set of 17-inch, multi-spoke alloy wheels, Recaro seats, and a sportier, bigger front bumper with an enlarged air-dam. The asymmetric slats on the front fascia are now horizontal, while the projector headlights get a chrome surround. To up the raciness, the wheels and rear view mirrors are highlighted in red, and so is a strip on the front bumper.

Although Suzuki has remained silent on the output figures, one can expect the power numbers to hover around the 100 bhp mark. The standard variant of the Alto kei-car is powered by a 600cc three cylinder naturally aspirated engine that comes in two states of engine tune – 48 bhp and 51 bhp.
