Vaughn Gitten Motorsport designed 2015 Ford Mustang RTR (Ready to Rock) teaser has been floated before its premiere at SEMA 2014. Slated for worldwide sale as against the present gen Mustang RTR confined to Northern American markets, the 2015 model will be unveiled tomorrow i.e. 3rd November 2014 by World Champion drifter Vaughan Gittin Jr and would go on sale in January next year.

The champion drifter said “Ford’s Mustang team has done an incredible job with the new 2015 Ford Mustang. The RTR team and I are pumped to work with such an incredible platform for RTR builds. Without a question, the performance and overall presence of the new Mustang RTR will impress and keep a smile on our customers’ faces whether cruising the streets or getting crazy on the track.”

The 2015 Ford Mustang RTR features a new bonnet with a power dome, a revised splitter as well as new grill and an RTR badge. At the rear, the car gets a new diffuser mounted with reversing lights, a new bumper, dual tailpipes and a new bootlid lip spoiler. The 2015 Ford Mustang RTR will be available in two packages viz. Spec 1 and Spec 2. The Spec 1 package would see changes to the EcoBoost-powered Mustang, while the Spec 2 Package would be for the V8 variant. Other bits on the RTR package includes an improved exhaust system, uprated brakes, suspension and tyres.
