The Swift has to be among the most successful of small cars to have ever come from Japanese auto maker Suzuki. The current generation of Swift first came in 2010 and hence, the car maker is close to launching the Swift facelift.

Images of the Suzuki Swift facelift were recently accidently unveiled by the carmaker. These images were unintentionally published on Suzuki Belgium’s website for a few minutes. While Suzuki was quick to take them all down, many internet users were quick to copy them to their hard drives.

As can be made out from these images, the Suzuki Swift facelift gets sports really minor visual changes and we feel that it is only a good thing that the carmaker hasn’t played much with the cheeky looking car’s appearance. Very much like the i20 facelift that came to us earlier, the Swift facelift gets daytime running LED lights in the foglight housing.  Other quickly noticeable change is the inclusion of a golden brown paint option. The front trafficators of the car have moved from the front fenders to Outside Rear View Mirrors (ORVMs).

The interiors of the facelift are same as that of the current car.

The engine options for the car too remain the same with the petrol variant getting the 1.2 litre K-Series 4 pot motor with 94 bhp on tap and the diesel variant getting the 1.3 litre DDIS diesel engine with 74 bhp of max power.

The 2014 Suzuki Swift facelift is likely to make its first official appearance at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show that will be held in September.
