2014 Hyundai i10 Caught Testing in India

We reported in detail when popular Korean carmaker Hyundai announced its plans to unveil the all new i10 at the Frankfurt Motor Show next year. India is an important market for the Korean car giant and the current gen i10 has been quite popular in our country. It is quite obvious that the next gen i10 will come to our shores soon after its launch in its home market. What further consolidates this belief of ours is the recent batch of spy pics of new i10 being tested in India.

It can be made out that the styling of the all new car has employed Hyundai’s Fludic Sculpture design language. The front fascia of the all new i10 will be seen sporting bigger headlights and a larger air intake on the front bumper. Also can be made out are the upward sweeping shoulder line and a sloping roofline.

While the petrol engine options continue to be the 1.1-liter iRDE and 1.2-liter Kappa four cylinder units, it is the introduction of a diesel variant that should be the most welcomed aspect of the new car.
