Chevrolet has showcased the new 2014 Corvette Stingray convertible at the New York Motor Show 2013. The new car that will soon be available at all US Chevrolet dealers is targeted at those who want a perfect amalgam of supercar performance and topless motoring.
The new Corvette Stingray convertible comes with a foldable electric top that can be folded/unfolded till the speeds of 50kmph.
General Motors claims that the convertible has been developed alongside the coupe and there is former isn’t lacking in performance or technology in any manner.
Powering the Corvette Stingray convertible is a LT1 6.2L V-8 engine that has a max power output 450hp and a peak torque figure of 610Nm.
The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible comes with LED lights, carbon fibre and aluminium interior trim and hand wrapped leather, dual 8-inch configurable driver/infotainment screens, Drive Mode Selector and a new seven-speed manual transmission that has Active Rev Matching technology.
