2014 Chevrolet Camaro facelift teased. March 27 Debut

2014 Chevrolet Camaro SS

The new Chevrolet Camaro, which is the modern day incarnation of the cult classic, has been posting great numbers on the sales charts ever since it was launched in 2009.

The original Camaro was launched in 1966 to battle it out against the highly popular Ford Mustang. However, the Camaro could never manage to outsell the Mustang. The Camaro was resurrected in 2009.All thanks to aggressive pricing, a clever marketing campaign that included showcasing the car in the Transformers flick and a great exterior design, the car has been almost flying out of GM dealerships. Such is the response that the Camaro manages to outsell the new Ford Mustang!

The new Camaro has been out since four years now and it is surely high time for it to get a midlife makeover.

GM has now published a teaser image for the 2014 Chevrolet Camaro facelift that will be unveiled on March 27 at the New York International Auto Show. From what can be made out from this image, it can be deduced that the updated car would come with a thinner grill and might be launched only with the SS variant.

The car will be powered by a 7.0-liter LS7 V8 with 505 horses on offer. Other engines that would make it to the car will be the 3.6-liter V6 and 6.2-liter V8 engines. It is being said that the car will come with updated interiors and a longer equipment list that would include new MyLink infotainment system.
