Just when we thought we have said enough about the upcoming 2013 Mercedes E Class and its variants, Mercedes Benz has published a pic of the new E Class family and has hence, revealed the 2013 Mercedes E63 AMG.
As can be made out on comparing the cars seen in the pic, the AMG variant of the refreshed E features a body kit, a contrast roof, a boot spoiler, a typical AMG grille and tasty mag wheels. The interiors of the AMG variant are being expected to sport different two tone upholstery with faux carbon inserts and AMG door sills.
Powering the 2013 Mercedes E63 AMG will be a twin-turbo 5.5-liter V8 engine that will pump out close to 550hp of peak power and 720Nm of max torque. With that monster of a power plant lurking under the hood, expect the car to have a 0-100kph timing of supercar challenging 3.3 seconds.
The 2013 Mercedes E63 AMG will sport the 4MATIC all wheel drive system and will be unveiled at the fast approaching 2013 Detroit Motor Show.
