We reported in detail when the production of 2013 Fiat Linea facelift began at Turkey. We also reported when the 2013 Fiat Linea sedan was launched in the Greek and Spanish car market. Now, it has emerged that the car is headed to the rapidly growing Brazilian car market where it will be launched in November 2013.

It may be noted that the Fiat Linea has been in the international market since 2007 and the refreshed Linea should keep the car fresh till the time Fiat comes with a new model.

As with all mid life facelifts, Fiat Linea refresh sports a new fascia with a new bumper, grille and a lip spoiler. Also, the car gets a new rear bumper and revised taillights. Designers at Fiat have done away with the slightly Audi-ish ‘Bulgarian beard’ and the Linea now comes with a grille that reminds us of that on the last generation Hyundai Verna.

The Linea has never been very successful in taking the upper C segment of Indian car market and has been plagued by poor after sales support being offered by the venture between Tata and Fiat. Some cases have surfaced where Tata dealers have been dishing out step motherly treatment towards Fiat car. However, Fiat India is gradually coming up with a better after sales setup and going by the recent developments, future seems to be brighter for Fiat India.

The refreshed Linea is expected to come to our shores by the end of this year.
