The Camry is one of the biggest success stories for Toyota worldwide. The car is the no.1 family sedan in the US, which should say a lot about the car’s importance for the Japanese carmaker. As goes without saying, the company cannot afford to do anything wrong with the replacement of the current version of the car, which is due to be replaced in the coming months.
Akio Toyoda, the top guy at Toyota Motor Corporation knows how important the Camry is to Toyota, and he made it a point that he stood in front of the camera to promote the 2012 version of the car. In a statement, which also acted as a teaser for the upcoming model replacement, Mr Toyoda said ‘The new Camry is the best Camry ever and will exceed the expectations of the customers by a huge margin in terms of technology, safety and fuel efficiency’. Here’ the video of the man, giving us the first glimpse of the 2012 Camry.
Apart from Mr. Toyoda introducing us officially to the headlights of the car, there is another video doing the rounds on the interwebs – that of an event, which apparently is the unveiling of the 2012 camry to the US dealers. The car is visible in all its glory in the video, albeit from a distance. Have a look.
