Talent Hunt: Hero Dirt Biking Challenge

The world’s largest motorcycle and scooter manufacturer,  Hero MotorCrop, On Friday, introduced the Hero Dirt Biking Challenge (HDBC). The HDBC will be the first pan-India talent hunt program organized by an OEM (original equipment manufacturer). The Hero Dirt Biking Challenge prompts the company’s customer-focused approach.

The Hero Dirt Biking Challenge will be a perfect platform for budding riders, enthusiasts and amateurs to pursue their passion in off-road racing and make a name for themselves in the field. HDBC has planned to search around 45 cities to find top amateur off-road riders in India. The interested participants can apply from the website of HDBC

This challenge also comes with exciting prizes as The winner and two runners-up will receive the popular Hero Xpulse 200 4V motorcycle and sponsorships contracts from Hero MotoCorp worth Rs. 20 lakh. The participants of the HDBC will get to be trained by the Hero MotoSports Team Rally, which is one of the top international teams and the only Indian team ever to win a stage at the Dakar Rally. The top participants will get to work with Hero MotoSports Team Rally riders Ross Branch, Joaquim Rodrigues, Sebastian Buhler and Franco Caimi.

To reach more youth The HDBC will be broadcasted over MTV and the ott platform of Voot, the telecast is planned to go on air in November 2022. The selection process will include a screening of online submission, followed by the first round which will be arranged in 45 cities, the selected participants will be able to make their way into the regional round held in 18 cities, Finally, the top 100 riders will reach 5 days regional boot-camp, where they will be guided and trained by the top Indian rider CS Santosh.

Selected 20 talented Riders will enter the final round which will be at the Center of Innovation of Technology (CIT), Hero MotoCorp’s state-of-the-art R&D center in Jaipur. Where the riders will get trained for 5 days by the Hero MotoSports Team Rally and the final race will decide the winner.
