Hero Destini 125 Gets a Makeover: Leaked Images Reveal Major Design Changes

Hero MotoCorp is gearing up to give the Destini 125 a significant upgrade, as leaked images circulating online suggest. The pictures showcase a completely revamped scooter, featuring a major overhaul of the overall styling.

A Smoother, More Modern Look

The most noticeable changes appear in the front section. The leaked images reveal a redesigned headlamp unit and turn indicators, ditching the sharp nose for a smoother and more modern aesthetic. Additionally, Hero has seemingly opted for a less chrome-heavy approach for this new version.

Functional Upgrades

Beyond aesthetics, the leaked images hint at some functional upgrades as well. For the first time, the Destini 125 might be getting a front disc brake option, potentially enhancing stopping power. Other potential features gleaned from the leaks include an external fuel filler cap and a USB charging socket. The possibility of XTEC connectivity with turn-by-turn navigation adds another layer of convenience for riders.

Engine Likely Carries Over

While the visuals showcase a significant design shift, the leaked information doesn’t suggest any changes to the powertrain. The 2024 Hero Destini 125 is likely to retain the same 124.6cc single-cylinder engine churning out 9 bhp and 10.4 Nm, likely paired with the familiar CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission).

Competition Heats Up

With its anticipated makeover, the new Destini 125 is expected to compete fiercely in the crowded 125cc scooter segment. It will vie for market share against established players like the Honda Activa 125, Suzuki Access, TVS Jupiter, and Yamaha Fascino.

Official Announcement Awaited

While the leaked images offer a glimpse into the upcoming Hero Destini 125, an official announcement from Hero MotoCorp regarding the launch date and specifications is still awaited.
