Hyundai Tucson Launch Tomorrow: What To Expect?

Hyundai has managed to create headlines with the new Tucson thanks to the SUV pushing above its weight in every aspect. The flagship Hyundai SUV is all set to launch tomorrow and the bookings have already commenced for this premium SUV. In fact, Tucson has managed to garner over 3000 bookings. Let’s take a look at everything that you need to know about the new Tucson:

The Hyundai Tucson gets its power from a 2-liter diesel unit that delivers 185 hp and 416 nm of torque. It is mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. Tucson comes equipped with HTRAC All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system with Multi-Terrain Modes (Snow/Mud/Sand) to run smoothly on all road conditions. Being the flagship model in Hyundai India’s lineup, it comes equipped with a bunch of new and unique features. The Tucson offers all possible features that a premium car can get and even more in some cases!

The exterior of Tucson features a big dark chrome parametric grille with the Hyundai logo and a camera in the middle. The grille ends with integrated LED DRLs. The LED headlights are placed down on the bumper. The cabin houses a 10.25-inch touchscreen with navigation, Android Auto and Apple Carplay, Hyundai Bluelink connected car technology, and a whole lot more such as selectable themes and it acts as a display for the parking sensors and navigation. As with other Hyundai cars, the Tucson moves the game forward in terms of the interior ambiance and quality.

Other features include dual-zone climate control with a first-in-segment multi-air mode. The electrically adjustable leather seats are heated, and cooled, and also have a memory function for the driver. The count doesn’t end here and the Tucson comes with 64-color ambient lighting, electric parking brake, 8 speaker Bose sound system, hands-free tailgate operation, rain-sensing wipers, and remote engine start with key. Another cool feature is a passenger walk-in device from which the rear passenger can move the front passenger seat via a button for increasing the legroom.

Making it one of the safest SUVs is Tucson’s safety features. The safety department of Tucson is handled by the standard 6 airbags, ESC, Hill Descent Control, TPMS, and ISOFIX child mounts. Tucson is also the first Hyundai to feature  Level 2 ADAS capability in India. With not less than 19 ADAS features Tucson comes with a Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) with pedestrian detection, Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), Lane Following Assist (LFA), Blind-Spot View Monitor, Blind-Spot Collision Warning (BCW), Surround View Monitor, Reverse Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist (RPCA), Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist (BCA) with Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist (RCCA) Advanced Smart Cruise Control (SCC) with Stop and Go and Safe Exit Warning (SEW). Tucson has already scored 5 stars in the Euro NCAP crash test.
