Honda unveils new version of its chopper-The 2012 Fury

Back in 2009, Honda launched its Fury motorcycle for the first time. Back then, nobody thought that a chopper from a Japanese manufacturer can survive in a world of choppers that is full of American bikes. Come to think of it, the word chopper is a synonym to Harley Davidson. But in the two years that it has been in the market, the first ever chopper from Honda has been quite successful.

The chopper is powered by a liquid cooled 1312 cc V Twin engine that pumps out a maximum power of about 57 bhp@ ,4300 rpm and maximum pulling power of 71.32 lb-ft@ 3,100 rpm.  The 2012 Honda Fury gets chopper styled decals, a new exhaust note, better emission control, better riding position, wider rear tire, slimmer front tire, custom cast wheels, programmed fuel injection, newly designed shaft drive and of course Honda’s trademark reliability.

The 2012 Honda Fury comes with an option of 5 colors: Mattl Silver Metallic, Black, Ultra Blue Metallic, Metallic Silver and Dark Red Metallic., and much more. It is available at a price of $13,000 and carries a 2 year’s manufacturer warranty.

Now that the Harley Davidson is here, should this Honda be far behind? We so much want to see this bike at the upcoming Expo.
