The upcoming Bajaj Pulsar 200SS was spotted several times in spy images and overseas launches. But here is a video that shows the motorcycle in action, popping wheelies, stoppies and burning rubber in Turkey. Scheduled for a launch in India in 2015, the Pulsar 200SS is the fully faired avatar of the Pulsar 200NS street fighter motorcycle.
Based on the Bajaj Pulsar 400SS that was unveiled at the 2014 Auto Expo in Delhi, the Pulsar 200SS has already been introduced in Turkey. The engine has been sourced from the Pulsar 200NS. The 199.5 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled, carburetor employed motor produces 23.52 PS (23.18 bhp) of power at 9,500 rpm and 18.3 Nm of torque at 8,000 rpm.
But will the Pulsar 200SS benefit from fuel injection as well? The Pulsar 200NS is available in a fuel-injected form in Turkey which produces an extra PS of power over its carbureted counterpart. But addition of fuel injection would result in relatively higher price.
