Bajaj Auto, one of the biggest 2 and 3-wheeler manufacturing company in India, has now launched the Platina 100 (KS) across the country. The Platina is a bike well-known for its affordable price and class-leading comfort. Bajaj’s traditional DTS-i engine provides the bike with the right amount of power to glide through the Indian roads. Bajaj’s affordable bike range gets even cheaper with the launch of the new Platina 100 KS (Kick Start) which now gets an additional advantage of CBS (Combi-Braking System) for safer riding. The new bike provides a blend of safety and comfort at an unbeatable price of Rs 40,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
To comply with the new BS-VI norms, the new Platina is now also available with the CBS (Combi Brake System) making it even safer and reliable for everyday commute. The new Platina 100 now gives 20% fewer jerks, due to its ‘ComforTec’ technology which consists of longer front and back suspension, along with rubber footpads, directional tyres, and a spring soft seat that allows the rider and the pillion to have a hassle-free journey. The bike now looks even more stylish thanks to its new LED DRL headlamp and attractive graphics.
The new Platina is powered by the 100cc Bajaj DTS-i engine which produces 7.9PS of peak power at 7500 rpm and 8.34 Nm of torque at 5500 rpm. It has a top speed of 90 kmph. The engine is paired with a 4-speed gearbox. The Platina has a fuel tank capacity of 11.5 litres and a mileage 89.5 kmpl, which can provide it with a range of more than 1000 kms. The bike weighs at 111 kgs.
