It seems Bajaj Auto has introduced a new colour for their recently launched V15 premium commuter motorcycle. Primarily, the Bajaj V15 was introduced in the Indian market in Pearl White and Ebony Black colour schemes. The Pearl White livery for the V had the front fender, headlamp housing, fuel tank , side panels, and the rear cowl painted in white and red coloured decals decorating the tank and the side panels.
The Ebony Black version, on the other hand, replaces the white paint of the Pearl White colour scheme with Black while the red decals remain the same. Now speaking of the new colour, an unregistered model of the Bajaj V has been spotted in a newly introduced colour scheme, reportedly called as the ‘Cocktail Wine Red’. Judging from the licence plate, it seems that the vehicle was spotted at a dealership in Mangalore, Karnataka.
The Cocktail Wine Red livery is an inverted version of the Ebony Black colour scheme. The fender, side panels, fuel tank, headlamp housing, and the rear cowl gets the deep dark shade of red and the featured decals are in black. It is not yet confirmed if the new shade will cost more or the same, but we can assume that the prices will remain unchanged. Recently, the bike maker introduced a Desert Gold edition of the Avenger Cruise 220.
The Bajaj V is power by a single cylinder, 4 stroke, SOHC 2 valve, Air cooled, DTS-i engine. The 149.5cc engine makes 11.8 Bhp at 7,500 and a peak torque of 13 Nm at 5,500. The power id pushed to the wheels by a 5-speed transmission. The bike retails for a price of INR 62,002 (Ex-Showroom Delhi).
