If a recent report is to be believed, the Bajaj Discover F150 launch could take place sometime next month! (CLICK HERE for our earlier report on Bajaj Discover F150) If the report on the Bajaj Discover F150 launch is true, the launch of the semi-faired Disco would happen soon after pulling the Bajaj Discover 125ST off the shelves. It seems that the Bajaj Discover F150 launch would take place around the same time when the highly anticipated Bajaj Pulsar 200 SS would enter our bike market.(CLICK HERE for images of a P200 SS at a dealership)
It is being said that the Disco F150 would be a direct rival to the likes of Yamaha SZ and upcoming Honda Stunner based 160cc motorcycle.
Quite obviously, the F150 would become the flagship variant in the Discover line up of bikes. The bike will find itself slotted between the Discover 125T and the Pulsar 150 DTSi. The bike will also pave the way for future Discover variants. The Bajaj Discover F150 price in India is likely to be pegged at INR 60,000. While the Puslar 150 will continue to fend off the heat from the Xtreme, FZ16, Apache RTR160, et al, the F150 will be seen rivaling the Honda Stunner, the speculated Honda Stunner 160, and Hero Ignitor, all of which have quarter fairing similar to that of the Disco F150.
The Bajaj Discover F150 is powered by a new 4 valve 150cc DTS-i engine that would have churn out a max power of around 14PS. It is also likely that the Bajaj Discover F150 would spawn out a naked twin some time after its launch.
The new F150 will make use of many bits that have been seen on the 125ST. The new Discover would use the same frame, along with sharing other cycle parts such as the brakes and the rear mono-suspension. Nothing much is currently known about the upcoming bike but safely expect us to update with more dope on Bajaj Discover F150 launch as soon as we manage to dig out some more details.
