The latest concept from Volvo previews the 2015 XC90 and has a stylish exterior that borrows several cues from the Volvo Concept Coupe that we all saw at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. The new Volvo Concept XC Coupe comes with a plastic body cladding, muscular wheel arches and 21-inch alloy wheels. The car also boasts of skid plates, a ‘floating’ grille and headlights with LED daytime running lights.
Volvo hasn’t divulged many details about the interior but has stated that the 2015 Volvo XC90 will have three rows of seats, which would comfortably seat seven people. Volvo has also stated that the car will come with a smart seat belt pre-tension system and Adaptive Cruise Control with Steer Assist.
Engine specifications haven’t been revealed but the car is based on the new Scalable Product Architecture, which means the car won’t be too heavy.
