The Kinetic DX has a familiar shape that many Indian buyers may remember from older Kinetic scooters. Now, the electric version has received a useful update. Kinetic has added bigger battery options to the DX range, giving buyers more range on a single charge.
The new Kinetic DX 3kWh costs Rs 1,18,599, while the DX+ 3.1kWh is priced at Rs 1,27,650, both ex-showroom. The bigger battery versions sit above the existing 2.6kWh models.
New battery options
The biggest change is the battery. The DX+ 3.1kWh uses an LFP battery and is paired with a hub mounted BLDC motor. The new DX+ produces 3.8kW of peak power. This is lower than the 4.78kW motor used with the older 2.6kWh version. So, buyers get more range but give up some outright performance.

The new DX+ also drops the Turbo riding mode. It gets just Range and Power modes. Kinetic says the scooter can charge from 0 to 80 percent in about three hours.

Kinetic has kept several practical features on the DX+. The scooter gets a metal body, LED lighting and a large 37 litre storage space under the seat. Other key specifications include:

The DX+ 3.1kWh is available in Black, Silver, Blue, White and Red. The DX 3kWh gets Black and Silver colour options.
Kinetic is also offering festive benefits on the new range. Depending on the variant, buyers can get cash benefits, an extended warranty option and other offers.
More range, less power
The new versions give the Kinetic DX range a clear choice. The smaller battery versions offer stronger motor output, while the bigger battery models are more suitable for riders who want to travel farther on one charge.
For everyday city riding, the extra range could be useful. The new DX+ also keeps the practical features and familiar metal body that are part of the DX package.
