Hyundai Bids Farewell To The Current-Gen i20 N Through A Special ‘Shadow Edition’

The current-generation Hyundai i20 N is getting a memorable send-off in Australia. Hyundai has introduced a new Shadow Edition, a limited-run version of its performance hatchback before the next-generation model gradually takes over global markets.

Only 100 units of the Shadow Edition will be produced, making it one of the rarest versions of the i20 N ever offered. While the mechanical package remains unchanged, Hyundai has added several exclusive styling and cabin upgrades to make this final edition stand out.

Limited Numbers Add Exclusivity

The Shadow Edition will be available only in Australia and production is restricted to just 100 examples.

Buyers can choose from two exterior shades:

  • Atlas White
  • Phantom Black

The regular i20 N is sold with more colour options, but Hyundai has kept things exclusive for this special model.

New Design Details

The Shadow Edition gets several cosmetic updates that separate it from the standard car.

Some notable additions include:

  • 18-inch forged alloy wheels finished in matte bronze
  • Black wheel nuts
  • Bronze-themed side decals
  • Black centre caps for the wheels
  • Red accents on the bodywork remain
  • N badging retained

The bronze wheels give the hatchback a more distinctive appearance and help create a unique identity for this final edition.

Cabin Gets Exclusive Touches

Several updates have been made inside the car as well.

The steering wheel and gear knob are wrapped in Alcantara, providing a softer and sportier feel. Hyundai has also fitted a numbered plaque on the dashboard, showing the individual production number of each vehicle.

Other additions include:

  • Alcantara steering wheel
  • Alcantara gear lever
  • Numbered dashboard plaque
  • Custom floor mats inspired by Pirelli tyre tread pattern
  • Blue 12 o’clock marker on the steering wheel

Apart from these changes, the cabin remains similar to the standard i20 N.
