Australian actor and lead character of the X-Men series Hugh Jackman made a style statement of a different kind when he arrived at ‘The Wolverine’ premiere in an Audi R8 Spyder.
A VIP red carpet event in London’s Leicester Square was also graced by other prominent names from Hollywood such as Will Yun Lee, Rila Fukushima, Tao Okamoto, Famke Janssen and director James Mangold – chauffeured to the top of the red carpet by a luxurious fleet of Audi A8s.
Due for UK general release on July 25th, the latest sequel is based on the celebrated comic book arc which takes Wolverine to modern day Japan. In the film, Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) is driven by Yukio (Rila Fukushima) in an Audi R8 Spyder. Other vehicles in the movie include the Audi A8 L and the Ducati Diavel.
Talking of the movie script, this time the Wolverine will be facing a host of unexpected and deadly opponents in a life-or-death battle that will leave him forever changed. Vulnerable at first and later pushed to his physical and emotional limits, the Wolverine gets to confront not only the likes of lethal samurai steel but also his inner struggle against his own immortality.
We’ll get to see the slam bang action and the Ducati Diavel on course when the movie hits the Indian circuit next week on the 26th of July 2013.
