The 2-wheeler manufacturer is on the verge of revising the prices of its 2-wheeler range in their portfolio. The prices of Hero’s 2-wheeler range will be increased by an average of 1.5%. This price increment will be implemented by the manufacturer from July 2023. The company believes that its industrial volumes will witness significant growth in the festive season.
While the prices of the 2-wheeler range will vary depending on the model and the variant. As per the company, they are implementing this hike for attributing to the price proposition, expenditure expenses, and business imperatives. The decision to the price hike is part of the business strategy of the manufacturer for its future growth.
About the Hero Strategy and Launches in 2023
2023 has proven to be a year full of excitement with new launches for the Hero MotoCorp. Amongst the highlights, the company welcomed a fresh wave of products and the appointment of a new CEO, Niranjan Gupta. In June, Hero MotoCorp unveiled its latest offering, the Xtreme 160r 4V, generating significant buzz within the industry.
During the launch event, the company also revealed its two-pronged product strategy. The first strategy is to introduce a series of new or updated products in rapid succession. The upcoming launches include the all-new Karizma whose test mule has been spotted on numerous occasions. However, the recent buzz surrounds the Harley-Davidson X440, a result of the collaboration between Hero MotoCorp and Harley-Davidson.
The motorcycle will get an oil-cooled 440 cc single-cylinder engine coupled with a 6-speed gearbox. The X440 is scheduled for launch on July 4 and is expected to be priced between Rs 2.5 lakh and Rs 3 lakh, potentially offering competition to Royal Enfield and Honda’s 350 cc line-up.
