Toyota has unveiled the crossover version of the Corolla in the hybrid variant. The Corolla Cross Hybrid is designed to cater to the needs of entry-level SUV customers. The new Corolla Cross Hybrid is based on the TNGA-C platform and uses a new hybrid powertrain setup.

About Variants of Toyota Corolla Cross
The new Toyota Corolla Cross will be available in 3 different variants namely the S, SE, and XSE. Both the S and SE variants will feature 17-inch alloy wheels as a standard feature. Additionally, they will have a sport-tuned suspension, LED head and tail lamps, and smart key access, among other features. The SE grade will offer more features such as privacy glass, roof rails, paddle shifters, Blind-Spot Monitor, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert. All the variants will be offered with standard Rear AC vents.
The SE grade will be an ideal choice for those who prioritize safety and convenience. The range-topping XSE variant gets more premium features like 18-inch alloy wheels, premium LED headlamps, taillamps, and fog lamps. The XSE variant also features Dual Zone Auto AC, Softex seats with a heating function, and a powered driver seat.
About Hybrid Powertrain
Under the hood of the new Corolla Cross will be a 5th generation Hybrid powertrain system. The new hybrid powertrain is expected to produce 196hp of power output and an estimated mileage of 18km/l. This powertrain setup will feature an AWD system ensuring the optimum power delivery to all the wheels.
