Manufacturer of two and three-wheelers across the globe, TVS Motor Company has now released data regarding its month-on-month & year-on-year sales. The company press release has also disclosed its performance in the domestic as well as international markets for the financial year 2022-23.
Sales Figures
In March 2023, TVS reported sales of 317,152 units. Compared to the same month last year, when it sold 307,954 units, this marks a 3 percent rise in sales. Additionally, the firm reported a healthy domestic increase of 22%, going from 196,596 units in March 2022 to 240,780 units in March 2023.

Two & Three-wheeler Sales
The number of scooters sold also increased by 5%, from 94,747 units in March 2022 to 128,817 units in the same month the following year. However, it might be argued that the TVS iQube Scooter saw the greatest growth in sales, with sales rising from 1,799 units in March 2022 to 15,364 units in the same month the following year. That is a whopping increase of 750% over March 2022.
But compared to 15,036 units in March 2022, sales of three-wheelers were just 9,593 units in March 2023.
In FY 22–23, TVS reported a drop in export volume. In March 2023, it exported 75,037 units compared to 109,724 units during the same month last year. In comparison to the 8.15 lakh units sold in the fourth quarter of the financial year 2021–22, total two-wheeler sales in the fourth quarter of the financial year 2022–23 reached 8.40 lakh units. Compared to 42,000 units in the fourth quarter of the financial year 2021–22, the firm sold 29,000 units of three-wheelers in the fourth quarter of 2022–23.

About The TVS iQube
The TVS iQube electric scooter has a 4.4 kW electric motor, with a top speed of 79 km/h. The scooter has a 2.25 kW/h battery which is good for clocking a range of 80 km on a single charge. It takes about five hours to fully charge the battery.
