Updated BMW X3 Diesel Launched at ₹67.5 Lakh

One of the reputed German car makers, BMW has launched a more affordable variant of the X3 diesel. BMW has revamped the variant line-up of the new X3 with the addition of more variants. Now, the price range of X3 diesel starts from Rs. 67.50 Lakhs Ex-showroom, which is cheaper by 2.5 Lakhs than the M-Sport variant. BMW will locally manufacture the new X3 in India and sell it in the market. The prices of updated 2023 X3 diesel are mentioned below: –

Design Updates in the new X3

The overall design of the new X3 is bold and distinctive. The body line has sharp cuts and creases enhancing the overall beauty of this SUV. The front fascia of X3 has certain highlights like an angular character line, signature kidney grille, and sleek adaptive LED headlights. The side profile of the new X3 looks sedate and it sits on 19-inch alloy wheels. Coming to the rear, the new X3 gets sculpted LED taillights, chrome highlights and updated bumpers for a refreshing look.

However, the M-Sport variant features sporty highlights such as sporty accents, M-Sport blue brake callipers, large intakes, black inserts, M-Sport badges, and sporty alloy wheels. These highlights distinguish it from the regular xLine variant and give it a sporty appearance.

Interior and Features in the new BMW X3

The new BMW X3 features a brown interior with different materials. The x-line variant features high gloss oak wood finishing with chrome inserts. But the M-Sport variant gets different upholstery and brushed aluminium finish with chrome inserts. The dashboard features a fully digital instrument cluster and an advanced infotainment system with connectivity features. Other comfort creature features include 3-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, premium leather upholstery, ambient lighting and electroplated controls. The new X3 gets a boot capacity of 550 litres and it can be extended up to 1600 litres with a 40/20/40 split rear seat.

The M-Sport variant adds sporty highlights to the new X3’s cabin, including sports seats, Sensatec perforated upholstery, an M leather steering wheel, and M interior trim. These elements elevate the car’s enthusiasm for the M-Sport legacy and create a more dynamic driving experience.

About the Powertrain Options

To comply with the latest emission norms, BMW has updated the powertrains of the new X3. The car is now available with two engine options: a 2.0L 4-cylinder petrol engine and a diesel engine. The petrol engine delivers an output of 250ps and 350nm, while the diesel engine churns out 190ps and 400nm of torque. Both engines are paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission to provide the best balance between performance and efficiency. These tweaks ensure that the new X3 offers an optimal driving experience with fewer emissions.

The new BMW X3 is ready to lock horns with its formidable rivals such as the Audi Q5, Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class, Jaguar F-Pace, and Volvo XC60 in the premium SUV segment.
