The Telangana Government unveiled the world’s fastest accelerating car: the pure-electric hyper GT ‘Battista’ for the first time in India. Showcased as a part of the now-concluded E-Motor Show, the Battista is a limited-run hypercar from Pininfarina that was globally revealed in early 2019.
The Pininfarina Battista GT
The Battista is designed, developed, and made by Automobili Pininfarina – the Italian luxury car brand which is owned by Mahindra.
The Pininfarina Battista is powered by four e-motors that together produce 1,900PS and 2,300Nm of torque making it crazily fast. This e-supercar can go from 0-100kmph in just 1.86 seconds, 0-200kmph in 4.75 seconds, and 300kmph comes under 12 seconds. The motors are powered by a 120kWh battery pack.

The hypercar has a 500 km range on a single charge and can be recharged from 20 to 80% in less than 25 minutes. This hypercar is not only a design masterpiece and the most powerful car ever made in Italy, but also officially the fastest-accelerating car in the world.
