Mahindra has officially begun deliveries of the Scorpio N in the country from today. Mahindra recently announced that the first 7000 units of the SUV will be delivered in under 10 days. While the first 25000 cars will be delivered by November end. The top-end Z8 L variant will be delivered on priority. The demand for the Scorpio N is so high that many customers have been notified that their vehicle will be delivered in 2024.

Although the waiting period for this SUV is getting longer, the first buyers of Z8L are likely to get their hands on Scorpio N within the first two months. As for other variants, the expected waiting is four months. The first batch of Scorpio N is priced between ₹11.99 lakh to ₹23.90 lakh. This new Mahindra is already sold out for the first batch and continues to rack a ton of bookings as time is going by. The Scorpio N hit the 1 lakh bookings milestone in under 30 minutes when bookings commenced. The prices for the Scorpio N will be hiked once the first 25000 units are all sold out.

The power of Scorpio N comes from a turbocharged 2.0-liter Mstallion petrol engine unit that produces 200 hp and 380 nm of torque. The diesel engine is a 2.2-liter Mhawk unit that is available in two states of tune. The base Z2 gets 132hp and 300nm of torque whereas the higher variants produce 175 hp and 400 nm of torque. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission. The Scorpio also offers 4×4 as an option which comes with Mahindra’s 4xplor system which comes with Terrain modes. The new Scorpio N also comes loaded with features and is more upmarket than its previous iteration.

The interior comes in dual-tone black and brown theme with extensive use of silver finish for certain parts such as the door grab handles and the A/C vents surrounding. Features include an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system that runs on the Adrenox system paired with Sony’s 12-speaker premium sound system which also features roof-mounted speakers for a surround sound experience.
