BMW M4 Competition Coupé 50 Jahre M Edition Launched At ₹1.53 Crores

To Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the iconic BMW M division, BMW India has launched an exclusive 50 Jahre M Edition of the BMW M4 Competition Coupé in India. Priced at ₹1.53 crores, BMW India has announced that only 10 units of this CBU sportscar will be sold in country. The M4 Competition Coupé 50 Jahre M Edition joins the M340i, 5 Series and 6 Series 50 Jahre editions which were recently launched as the part of the celebration as well.

The 50 Jahre M Edition of the BMW M4 Competition Coupé gets some unique bits on the exterior and interior to make it more special. It gets an iconic M Emblem which is inspired by the classic ‘BMW Motorsport’ logo in the front and rear as well as the wheel hub caps. Other than this, the exterior remains the same. It is equipped with M specific vertical BMW kidney grille with hallmark double bars in a horizontal design. The front grille could arguably be the biggest grille ever to be fitted on a BMW. The grille connects to the full-LED laser headlights. Other details on the front include the large air vent on the lower half of the bumper to ensure maximum cooling efficiency.The side gets M-specific air vents and M high-performance compound brakes wrapped around by 19″/20″ M forged wheels double-spoke style 826 M wheels in black or gold.

The car is equipped with Adaptive M-specific Suspension and M Sport Differential. The interiors see the addition of ‘Edition 50 Jahre BMW M’ lettering on the door sill, metal plaque on the centre console and on the headrests. The interior of the BMW M4 Competition Coupe is sport-oriented, it is furnished with electrically adjustable M sport seats and M Leather ‘Merino’ with extended contents upholstery with Carbon fiber trim which come as standard. It features a 10.3-inch touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster found elsewhere in the range. The latest iDrive 7.0 operating system also carries over with standard features like navigation, wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto connectivity, and BMW’s personal voice assistant.

The BMW M4 competition coupe has been fitted with a 3.0L straight-six unit with BMW M TwinPower Turbo Technology. This engine produces 510hp of maximum power and 650nm of maximum torque. The M4 Competition Coupe can achieve 0-100kmph in just 3.5 secs and top speed is limited to 250km/h. It comes with BMW’s Xdrive all-wheel-drive system as standard.
