According to Neeraj Garg, Director and Member of Board, Volkswagen Passenger Cars, the Bettle is the very first Volkswagen car people remember about, with its unique shape and reliability. He said that the company is excited to bring this iconic Beetle to India after its success across the world for decades.
The Volkswagen Beetle is powered by a 2.0 liter, 4 cylinder petrol engine mated to a six speed auto box. The Beetle is being brought in via the CBU route from Mexico. Volkswagen India has already received around 150 bookings for their iconic car.
