Almost all the major two-wheeler manufacturers are increasing the prices of their products across their portfolio. The latest manufacturer to join the bandwagon is KTM. KTM recently made news when they launched the much-awaited Adventure 390 before the lockdown ensued and now they have increased prices of all the motorcycles they have in their line-up. The price hike ranges from Rs 4,000 to Rs 5,000 depending on the model.

Their most affordable offering in the Indian market, the Duke 125 has received a bump in price by INR 4,223 and is now priced at INR 1.42 Lakh. Its faired counterpart, the RC 125 now retails at INR 1.59 Lakh, which is INR 4,352 dearer than the previous price tag. Coming to the 200 twins now, they have received the smallest price hike across their entire range. The Duke 200 now retails at INR 1.75 Lakh and the RC 200 is now priced at INR 2 Lakh.

Their quarter-liter offering, the Duke 250 has received an update in pricing too and is now dearer by INR 4,700 making its ex-showroom price stand at INR 2.05 Lakh. Known as the pocket rocket, the Duke 390 isn’t spared from the price hike either as it now costs INR 4,900 more than before and is now priced at INR 2.57 Lakh. The highest increase in price is reserved for the RC 390 and the Adventure 390. Both motorcycles have received a similar hike of Rs 5,109 in the Indian market. The KTM RC 390 is now priced at Rs 2.53 lakh while the 390 Adventure comes with a price tag of Rs 3.04 lakh. The KTM 390 Adventure has received its first bump in price after it was launched in India.
Husqvarna made an official entry in the Indian market with their Svartpilen 250 and Vitpilen 250. Both the bikes were priced from Rs 1.80 lakh (ex-showroom) as an introductory offer, and Bajaj has finally given the Husqvarna twins their first price hike in the country. Their prices too have been increased by approximately Rs 4,800. This means the Svartpilen and Vitpilen are now for Rs 1.84 lakh, ex-showroom. They share the same engine with the Duke 250 which makes 30hp of power and 24Nm of torque. The gearbox is a 6-speed unit and gets a slipper clutch too.
