From what can be made out from specification sheets and reviews from various international publications, the Ninja 300 appears to be a sportier iteration of the already sporty 250R. One thing that we are sure about is that the Ninja300 will be a significant step ahead towards getting rid of the void that exists between the current 250cc and the 600cc performance motorcycles.

The 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 300 is powered by a 296cc, liquid cooled, parallel twin cylinder engine that benefits from dual throttle valves. The new Kawasaki Ninja 300 has a maximum power output of 39 PS@11000 RPM and boasts of a max torque figure of 27 Nm@10,000 RPM. All this power is transmitted to the rear wheel through a six speed manual gearbox. The rides on 110 section tire up front and a 140 section tire at the rear.

It is being said that the new Ninja 300 sportsbike would have an on road price of close INR 4 lakhs.

The new Kawasaki Ninja 300R is looking all set to kick open gates to an altogether new segment of sportsbikes in Indian bike market. The new bike will definitely appeal to those who have always been praying for a wee bit extra from entry level sportsbikes.

We are really excited about the new bike making it to us. What about you?
