Bajaj Auto has quietly updated its product line-up with the launch of the new 2017 Pulsar 220F. The new Pulsar 220F, with updated graphics and a BS-IV compliant engine, was recently snapped at a local dealership. The motorcycle, as reported by motoring portal Overdrive, is now available for sale at an ex-showroom (Thane) price tag of INR 91,000.
Visually, as reported before, the new version of the semi-faired motorcycle dons new decals on the side panels and the rear panels. Unlike the dual-tone paint scheme from the outgoing model, the new Pulsar 220F gets a monotone paint job with contrasting decals. Another noticeable visual upgrade is the matte grey exhaust with chrome highlights. The front fender also comes painted black while the rims feature new decals. The instrument cluster now features a blue backlit display that comes surrounded in a carbon-fibre textured panel. The seats, as reported, is softer than the outgoing model.

Mechanically, the new Pulsar 220F gets a BSIV compliant engine. The performance number, as reported in the report, remain unchanged and the new 2017 Pulsar 220F’s 220cc 4-stroke, DTS-i, oil cooled, single cylinder engine continues to deliver 21.05 PS of power at 8,500 rpm and 19.12 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm.
